Flash sale -- $285 shipped! Limited time only!

This is a small Sebenza 31 with silver double lugs and a blue anno Millit clip. Has been used and sharpened, and is a great all around knife like you'd expect from any Sebenza. Blade slightly favors the clip side, but I haven't had time to take it apart or adjust it. I'm sure it would be easy to do if anyone was inclined.

No box or papers, just what you see here.

Date code on the inner scale is B-21, which I think is spring of 2021...? I think it's S45VN but there's a chance it's S35VN. No papers, but I know it's stamped on the blade by the pivot. Again, if you took apart you could find out. But I know it's not Magnacut. :)

I might have a spare CRK replacement box around here if that's of any interest as well.

It's a great knife, I just use my small 21 a lot more often, so it's time to move this along.

$285 incl USPS priority shipping CONUS

I'll have to check later tonight when I get home... I'm thinking "no," but I'll have to double check.

Thanks -- yours if you want it!

I need a way to contact you, but I'm not sure placing an email address here seems very secure. Apparently they did away with the profile messages for people without gold level memberships

Sorry, I can't handle the weirdness of off-site deals... If you upgrade to gold membership we'll work through direct messages. Otherwise, I don't think we can do it this way.

Sorry, the Internet is a weird place, and we all have to protect ourselves as we can... It's not you, it's the Internet.

I'm as honest as the day is long.

You got an email you thought was from me, but it wasn't. I'm protecting both of us by putting the brakes on the whole thing and saying that I'll only deal through the PM system here.

If you put up an email address and someone else sends you a message because they saw your email before I did... well, that's fraud and that's bad for everyone. I have no way to prevent it except for to not entertain ANY deals outside of the PM system.

BTW, I see that you're new here, and that's fine, we all start somewhere. I make no assumptions about anything bad based on someone being new. The internet is just a crappy place sometimes. Face-to-face or through a more secure communication, I'll sell to anyone.

That’s fouled up
Hello Brad,
It is, indeed. You posted your email address in an open forum. BF, like a number of other selling venues has been under attack by third party scammers. The scammers' MO is to respond to an email posted in a sales thread before the seller does. They pretend to be the seller, and get the buyer to send money to their account. This is why we have a link to our "Best Practices" for avoiding scammers at the top of every page in the Exchange.

Be advised that even though you have now removed the email, you will need to assume that it's still out there.

Always, when responding to any email asking for money, make the emailer prove they are who they say they are. For BF sales, a good way to do this is to give them a code word of your choosing. Have them hand write the word on a piece of paper and send you a picture of the item you are wanting to purchase with that piece of paper visible in the photo.
