Running the 3C with a G4 adapter & 20W halogens on two 21700s.
MDC with a VME & M61WLL is always with me. I use a neutral Hound Dog, usually together with a MD21700 + M61W for outdoors.

Big Malkoff fan here.
My work light is a E2S on a 16650 body.
My EDC is a bodyguard v2 on a 16650 body when in jeans and on a lumens factory 18350 in shorts.
My woods light is Wildcat with diffuser removed on a MD3 body running 18500s
My backyard light is a Wildcat on MD4 running 2 18650
Bedside light is M91B w/ hi/low on MD3 running cr123
Truck light is M91T w/ hi/low on MD3 running cr123
Work desk light is another M91B/MD3 cr123
Power outage lights are 4 16650 w/ VME-M61L running cr123 and a few dozen CR123 scattered around the house.

Also a fan of the peak Eiger. Robyn has done a couple custom runs for me w/ Nichia 219B 5700. I give them as gifts and keep a pocket body in my pocket for upclose need both hand tasks.

Countycomm just introduced their new Maratac Chickpea flashlight that was too tempting to pass up.
It has more going on than I really like in a flashlight ,but made an exception since it's not going to be my EDC or anything.

Maybe I'll find a real purpose for it, but just ordered it for the fun of having such a small flashlight that can put out this much light.
This may sound odd, but I actually inherited my love of flashlights from my grandmother and she'll get a kick out of seeing a tiny flashlight like this that's so bright.

It's definitely small, a little thicker in diameter but overall it's pretty much the same size as the olight I1R2.

I will probably always prefer a simpler relatively featureless light for EDC, but over the past couple of years I have started to discover that the more reputable flashlight companies are often smart about their feature packed lights and am no longer against owning them.
This one was really easy to get the hang of right away.

Something I have noticed with this flashlight is that it seems to have memory.
It returns to the last mode you had it on, which is something they don't mention in the instructions.
It was implemented about as well as a memory function can be I suppose, but the memory function means that if I use a different mode than I normally do I would have to make sure it's on my preferred mode before turning it off so it turns on in that mode next time.
If it had a default of high or medium I would probably just stick to whichever mode that happens to be most of the time.

I knew this light was made by lumintop, so I went on their website hoping they offer it themselves and might have a better breakdown of the features.

it turns out the Maratac Chickpea is a modified Lumintop frog, but the features were changed for Countycomm.

I have just accidentally discovered another hidden feature with my new Maratac chickpea.
From the off position you can hold the botton down for about 7 seconds and it will go into moonlight as usual but eventually flash low once then go off, the switched is now locked into a momentary only operation on the low setting as
Hold it down for about 7 seconds again to return to normal operation.

The manual doesn't tell you the red button light can be deactivated or about this momentary function I just discovered, I wouldn't be surprised if there are even more hidden features.

Why would they put extra modes in the UI of this flashlight and not tell you about it ?

Surefire P2X Fury Tactical with a freshly installed McClicky kit. Works perfectly!

Original parts are on the paper towel and the kit is in the baggie.
