Flashlight Help?

I have a couple vihnguyen54 modded lights all are top notch, and inexpensive. What does you local guy do is he making one off customs or modding chinese lights? I have a dozen torches, but I'm more of a knife guy, so I say buy one really nice light, and lots of knives.

I am the guy who built the light. I have been a lurker here for some time now, but after talking to Sullie, decided to post here. It is great to meet a local who shares the same interests as we do (knives, flashlights, other EDC gear, fishing etc).

In my spare time I modify and build lights as a little hobby. Similar to vihnguyen54. I have talked to him on several occasions and agree, he is a fantastic guy. I do mine more as a hobby but sell some locally when I have too many to justify kicking around the house lol.

I have modded a couple 4sevens lights, but for the most part I like to purchase good quality hosts from China at lower costs and build the internals at a quality spec so that the customer gets a great balance of cost/quality/light output ratio.

I take care in what I do, and only want satisfied customers, so Sullie knows he can see me if he ever has a problem. The last thing I want is to earn a bad rap for shoddy workmanship or poor service.

Anyways, it is great to meet a local who shares the same interests, and nice to finally make a post here! It has been a while since I've posted.

There you have it, straight from the horses mouth.
I'd go ahead and try it out.

I have a Fenix PD32 and I think it is a good light for casual carry and utility use. You can get smaller lights, you can get brighter lights, but this one works well, and is small and relatively inexpensive.

Thanks again everyone! Mizjif, thanks for an awesome light, you were right, it is amazing! I told him I was asking questions here about it, glad you found the post. Got to test it out at the farm tonight and I am more than happy. I don't know all the technology behind it but I know I got an awesome little light with a lot of power!
My friend is a professional photographer and has light meters and all that, can I use one of those to measure the lumens or does it not work like that? Thanks.
This light is sweet...more than happy with it!
Let me know how those lures work out and post some pics when you catch some more monsters!

So you got it now?
I would appreciate it if you can make some pictures of it!

And (somewhat the most important thing) have fun with your new light!

A headlamp would suit your needs far, far better than a customized flashlight. Don't get me wrong... if you like it, then go for it. But a headlamp would suit your needs far, far better.

I spend a fair amount of my time outdoors...

I was hoping some of you would be able and willing to help me make an informed decision on buying one...

I spend a lot of time camping, canoeing, fishing, etc and want to carry everyday in case I need it

I have Armytek Predator XP-G2 Variety of modes will let you choose any mode you need (for home, walking, car). It's multifunctional light. Duration is 1h 20min at 670 lumens and 155 hours at 6 lumens. And effective range is 437 yards. $110 is not a lot of money for a good piece of gear. I carry tjis light everyday on my person.

I would appreciate it if you can make some pictures of it!

Sure! Here are some pics

Perfect size for the coin pocket and fits perfectly on my pack strap. Lights the path as I walk and sits very snug-

It also stands up on it's own and gives enough light on low to light up the room.
A'm very happy with this little light! Thanks again Mizjif!

Seems like a pretty good light. I haven't needed over 200 lumens in the outdoors, but your situation may be different

Mizjif made such a great light at an even better price, it was def a good buy. I'm sure it will mostly be used on low but a little extra lumens never hurt anyone.
It's water proof and I met the guy personally who built it and stands behind his product. Wish I could do all my business like that.

It is a compact light fitted with an XM-L led so it definitely makes a big flood. However, it is capable of making a good load of lumens, so that helps assisting with lighting up objects at a distance.

VERY glad that you like the light Sullie!!

Just to throw this one out there, check out the Nebo Tools Redline... Other than that, what everyone else said lol..
