This is all new in its original box. I bought 2 of them a while back, and I've had no trouble with mine. It's a cool little light. Heavier than you'd want for an EDC light, would make a good fist-load. You'll find a review of a slightly earlier version of the light here:

The holster it comes with is very good quality, you could dangle it or put it on your belt. Also includes a very nice quality lanyard and a replacement lens.
