Flashlights for EDC?

I've been carrying the Fenix PD31. A little over 300 max lumens, decent size, and nicely spaced settings. Got it for $75.

I like small single cell lights that i can carry in my pocket, usually attached to a SAK. The Fenix E15 goes with me everywhere. Its an amazing little light, especially for around 25 bucks.

So far I'm loving my Zebralight SC60 for EDC. The other ones that I considered were the Fenix PD22, Fenix PD32, and Foursevens Quark X 123x2 with the deep carry pocket clip.

If price doesn't matter look at McGizmo haiku or sundrop. Thats what I would get. Theres always peak led solutions, USA made, simple, durable and priced right.

Maglight is a nice light, I like the skinny design, fits in my pocket comfortably and you can beat the price.

I love my Fenix LD10. It's much like the LD20 except it only take one AA battery instead of two and is only 100 lumens. For the price it's small enough to carry and not notice, yet bright enough to do just about anything you need it to do. In my 9 months of carrying it i've yet to find a task where it wasn't bright enough. Good luck on your choice!

I tried out a bunch of offerings from 4sevens and Fenix for a while and then I broke down and splurged on a Surefire E1B. I'm glad I did, it hasn't left my pocket in over a year. Great all around EDC light! I'm looking forward to the new EB1 Tactical Backup that's coming out at the end of the year as it's successor.

HDS Systems, built like a tank and an excellent warranty. Been carrying mine for over a year, every day every where, and I do commercial construction in central Texas.

The Maratec AAA flashlight is really nice, two outputs(1.5 lumens & 115Lummens), waterproof and pretty compact in size and weight. Cost about $25 bucks and takes a standard AAA battery.

Another vote for the PD31!

When I saw this in their catalog - I had to have it. The "E2D LED Defender" from Surefire, it goes everywhere with me....even if it's eight in the morning. I have to figure out what backup light I'm going to get, decisions decisions.

the 4Seven Quark Ti Mini 123 warm tint is my usual daily, fits in my coin or 5th pocket, the Fenix PD10 is pretty bright at 180lumens but a bit longer. the longest one is a Nitecore D10. this is my only one that uses "AA" batteries currently. I pretty much use single cell for EDC. Laying around the house are the multi's.

As was mentioned a few posts back if price isnt an issue in my opinion theres really no better edc light than a mcgizmo haiku. Its what i have 90% of the time. The hds is also a great light and i have a few of them as well. Only other suggestion i have is macs custom tri-edc.

ITP EOS A3. Cheap, small, takes normal (AAA) batteries, and very powerful for it's size. Mine's still going strong after almost 3 years.

HDS, Mcgizmo, Macs Customs, Alpha lights "AKA" Dark sucks. All awesome customs. The surefire E1b is a great light as well
