Flashlights: which is the best?

Up to you, but so far the best companies I've seen out there are:

www.surefire.com (personally carry the U2)

www.streamlight.com

www.fenixlight.com (never actually used them, just heard good things)

www.flashlightreviews.com (should help)

FYI, flashlightreviews.com is not doing any more testing. He has retired as is hobby has become too much of a hassle.

yea, I remember, however, there are still current flashlights on there...

Without question Surefire is the best light made.

I disagree. It depends on what you need. Buying a Surefire for something that doesn't require a small lithium-powered flashlight for a high price, just because you love sound of the name, isn't so ...good.

Maybe, but Surefires can break, too. An incan can break when it falls and an LED if somethings wrong with the complicated electronics.

Their customer service is superb!

Yes. Even better when you're living in the USA.
