Is the k106 an older model, or newer one? I cant seem to find any reviews on a 3 mode, only 5 mode reviews.

Here is a review. And here's the features and instructions.

It's quite a remarkable light for the money. It has three completely programmable modes; from dim to bright, and from slow strobe to fast strobe, as well as SOS. The 3 mode is sought after as the 5 mode ones have pre-set modes. You can get this light for about $5 cheaper through Chinese sites, but there's no guarantee you'll get the 3 mode programmable version...and it might take 2 months.
