Recommendation? Flat Grind Confusion

This is not a full flat grind by any common standard. Full flat grinds offer the lowest wedge angle from edge to spine.
If i put one side of the blade from this knife on glass , blade would lie down on the glass making contact with glass on all surface ...that I call FFG ?? That blade have relative thin tip ....

On the other side ,this knife is also full flat grind / from edge to spine/ , but if I do same on glass tip of blade will be in air and you can rock blade on glass ....And this blade have thick tip and belly have curve on it ....

Natlek - what do you do whenyou use a jig? Do you pull straight across. Or do you pull the handle towards you?

Depends what I want to accomplish .It is not only about pull straight or towards ...when you start to pull towards , how much you pull towards , how much time blade is on one place have influence to ,then pressure ... It is not that simple for me to explain .Many time I rotate blade like this .keeping the same angle . . . .

I dont see that ... if you rotate it like you have drawn, the jig cannot remain fully on the rest, and you then defeat the whole reason for the jig....

Unless what are trying to draw is that you move the handle toward yourself while keeping the jig flat on the rest?

Jig rest on edge of work/rest plate when I do that ...............so angle is same as when jig is ON plate .
Blue is work/rest plate , green is jig...............rest plate is precisely alignment with glass platen behind belt in every direction..........I adjust grinding angle on work/rest plate . Jig is square stainless tube ,blade is glued to tube .............

I understand. Like you said - clever! :-). I believe though that sorells is correct that the angle is the same as if you were to pull the handle towards yourself. I think i can demonstrate that - but not now ... i need to finish cleaning the house, then make dinner..... tomorrow hopefully
