I was wondering for the purposes of durability, and blade strength, which grind is better? I am saving for a GB, and prefer the look of hollow ground a hair more than flat ground, though strength of the blade is my primary concern. Any imput would be welcome. Thanks SOX

I you look back several days, there is a thread here titled, "reason for switch from hollow to flat grind". In there I posted a link that explains the differences pretty well. To sum it up, a flat ground blade is usually stronger than a hollow ground.

Thanks, that answered all of my questions. I now like the flat grind a lot better knowing its strength. Though the hollow ground does look cool.
