The "Shrike" is my ideal carry blade. Designed for rapid deployment in forward or reverse grips.

The modified triangular blade shape has optimized piercing geometry.
The blades are .125" thick, high saber grind with a distal taper to a strong but sharp point.
I used 80CRV2 steel with a stonewashed Caswell black oxide finish, and AEB-L stainless with a fine belt finish for these knives.
The blades were heat treated in my custom made electric furnace, cryogenically treated in liquid nitrogen, (AEB-L) and tempered by me for maximum toughness and hardness.
Each blade is checked for hardness with my Rockwell Hardness Tester.
Micarta handle scales are held with 1/4" stainless tubes and G-Flex epoxy
The Shrike comes with a kydex sheath ready for an Ulticlip slim 3.3 (not included)
The price is $145 each TYD CONUS, payment via paypal.
OAL: 7-1/4"
Edge:3-1/2"
Heat Treat: AEBL HRC62 / 80CRV2 HRC60
Width @ ricasso: 7/8"
Handle length: 3-5/8"
Weight: 2.9oz
