Flat stock for knife making

I've been looking at several different websites to buy some steel for making a knife and cant find any website that sells anything wider then 2". I know there has to be something out there because I've seen videos on you tube where people have 4 or 5 inch wide stock. Where can I find this wide of flat stock?

Its a way to know what steel is what when you get it. The ends of the steel will be spray painted that color. Say you get 5 different steels, you can tell them apart.
