First off A big thanks to Peter. Just plain outstanding guy. I have had the pleasure to speak with him about other interests we share in the past, always helpfull and enjoy our conversations. Did not have a chance to video it but did take a few pics. Here is the unopened contents
As you can see, everything came nicely wrapped in some great new fire starting supplys  Enclosed was a nice postcard that Stich hand wrote with some notes and included the background of the knives. The little peach pit basket was carved by Stich, very cool. The basket was attached to a square very non knife looking box. Upon its reveal a very nice survival tin presented itself. Some of you may have followed us over to here? Housed a good bit of gear that will be used for sure, thanks buddy.
Ok I know, I know. You are here for the knives
All total their where 5 beautys packaged up for me. Of the 5 three are patterns I have never owned, one I had briefly as a kid and the last well, who cant use a vintage Jack knife in their collection?
and one more
The little pen knife is in my pocket right now, guess you can say it spoke to me first
They are all exceptional knives with a ton of history for sure. Pete took the time to sharpen every blade and oil them all up, again just another nice touch and gesture. I know you had all the fun finding all these guys and I will give them all some more work duty in the future. Their historys are not finished being written. The new Opinel is a huge suprise. I have never owned one before, this one is starting out with some great history of its own
Cant get over how great a gift this was. My many thanks go out to you Peter for such a generous Give Away. I never win these things but will never forget my first. Any questions guys go ahead and ask, I will try to get some more pictures with their proper descriptions up when the sun finally pokes out sometime this weekend.
Many Thanks,
Jeff
