A well-executed rendition of what first appeared as the 'Flesheater' fighter designed by Don Griffiths with key design input from A. J. Advincula { Advincula, a 7th degree black belt and member of the Black Belt Hall of Fame, began studying Escrima in 1946, Isshin-ryu in 1958, and Hindiandi Kung Fu in 1961. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Marine Corps in April 1981. With over 56 years experience in the martial arts, with emphasis on their combat application, and his 24 year military service, Jim Advincula was well qualified to determine the key design components of a single-purpose fighting knife. He also developed the current martial arts training program adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps. }

First rendered as the 'Flesheater' by Jim Hammond, maker Wayne Suhrbier obtained the blessings of both Mr. Advincula and Don Hammond, and ultimately made this version which includes a few slight variations.... including a flat grind for a bit more strength, a slight (and, I think, desirable) difference in the grind lines, hilt variations, and grooved spine for support-hand.

Specs:

- 9" blade, 5 1/4" handle, 14 1/4" overall length, 1/4" O1 stock
- Tapered tang, working satin finish
- Sharpened upper: This is a serious slicer and penetrator
- Black canvas micarta handle with (9) stainless pins, and tubes
* I had Mr. Suhrbier add fine grooving in the handles, which he
wisely positioned running from upper-front to lower-rear, for
a perpendicular intersection with the fingers.
- Nicely-wrought kydex sheath, 550 cord-wrapped, multi-positional TekLok
- Numbered '005'
- Unused....but certainly ready...:)

A rather quick and light-feeling 'nine'....! Mr. Suhrbier does nice work... I've had more than a few Brends, Siskas, and etc....but this would most-definitely be in the top-picks to have in-hand when it mattered.

Very-reluctantly offered. Solid value at under half the current cost of a Flesheater. ****SOLD****

A few more full-view shots. Difficult to capture the essence of this one, photographically....

Paypal is fine, if that works for you.

Unless something has changed regulations-wise(anyone with any pertinent info. please advise...), I don't mind shipping to Canada.

Maj., HJK is in the process of making the purchase.... Thanks for the interest.

Paypal sent.
No issues shipping to Canada except the taxes they'll charge me. They take the declared value, apply a bogus conversion rate into Canadian pesos and charge gst and pst (taxes_. Sucks to be socialist.
