Howdie guys and gals. I have a special knife for sale. This is the first of thise model. I've really fallen in love with this pattern, but unfortunately, knifemaking is a business and I have to sell the knives I make. ...so says the wife. ;)

This knife is called the Valhalla.

Specs:
3/16 O-1 steel 61rc
Convex Sabre Grind
Handle material is OD green canvas micarta over toxic green and black G10 liners
Pins are black phenolic and one stainless steel tube
Handle length is just slightly over 5"
Blade length is 5"
Comes with an OD green kydex sheath by Fletcher Knives

its patina i beleive just a glare off the background,id think it would be black,but i could be wrong

Actually it's none of the above. That's forge scale from the heat treat process. Not only does it protect against rust and corosion, but it also displays the skill of the grind.

If you're talking about the color on the grinds, that's just glare.
 
nice work as always.. love the shape, that's stepping out a bit..:) and the scale doesn't look like scale, looks more intentional..it really complements the handle bigtime, looks brownish from the pics...
 
Thanks brother. Yeah that scale comes out all kinds of different colors, black, brown, sometimes even purple and blue. I enjoy the randomness of it. It's like the higher powers are giving their own touch of design to the knife.
