Fletcher Knives WIP April batch!!!

The blade is 5 1/2" long,1 1/2" wide and overall is 10 1/2.The handle does not have a liner and is 1 inch at the widest part.
Thanks,
Michael:D

Love the Hatchula!!!!!

I would use the Heck outta it.

Of course, I love tall nessmuks with lots of blade/handle clearance. Makes for better all purpose use, like food prep etc.

Are you sure about that width? That thing should be sitting at about 2 and a 1/2. ;)

You are right about the width being 2 1/2" wide sorry about the wrong dimemsion.Everyone at work loved the way the knife looked and looks like your going to be busy making them.
Thanks,

It does indeed look that way. Thanks again Michael. Next batch I'm going to have to make myself one.

You gonna make a custom kydex rig for bike-mounted Hatchula carry? ;)

LOL! I can see explaining that to the cop.

"look, I know I'm already in trouble, but let me explain why there's a knife the size of my d@#$ mounted on the upper fairing support."

Jeez! Have I taught you nothing?

"Blade? Blade?...oh that! That's an air foil for better surface adhesion."

;)

HAHAHA! Perfect.

"That's not a knife. That's a new form of stabilization technology. Steering damers are a thing of the past. Now we have the Hyperfoil Aerodymanic Tensioning Counterbalanced Hydromatic Utilization Lateral Apparatus

H.A.T.C.H.U.L.A."

Recognize, officer Bitches. LOL!

I got the pictures developed of the Hatchula on Sunday.I will mail the pictures to Andy on Monday. The knife was sent out to have a leather sheath made by Sandy Morrissey and will send some pictures to Andy when I get the knife back.I can not want to see everyone at the Blade Show is always the high point of the year for me.
Thanks,
Michael:o

Excellent Michael! Can't wait to see them.

You should have received the pictures today let me know if the pictures are good enough to post.I will only be able to reshoot the Woodsman because the Hatchula is out to have the sheath made.Sorry to hear about your little girl I saw your back yard and is steep.
Thanks,
Michael:D

Thanks Michael. Can't wait to see the pics. What did you think of the performance of the Woodsman. The one you got had what I consider to be the ideal handle proportions.

The knife performed well due to the thinness of the blade. The 5 inch blade would as short as I would want to go for splitting wood. The sharpness of the edge was not lost from splitting and shaving wood. The handle is well designed to stay in your hand and does not slip when doing light chopping.
Thanks,
Michael
