All knives are unused. All prices include shipping in USA. I take PayPal G&S. First I’ll take it gets it.
A little about Flett Forge. Matty forges the knives in Scotland using hand tools and locally sourced materials as much as possible. They are historical pieces that are meant to be used. In general he uses high carbon steels. I don’t know the steel used on these, but i believe it is either 15N20 or 80CRV2. Matty in general uses high carbon steels with the idea of decent edge holding but keeping them easier to sharpen. That has been my experience with his smaller blades (6” and less) and a hatchet I have from him.
1. Flett Forge Dirk: This one has about an 11” blade with an OAL of about 15.5”. Sheath is black leather dangler style. Blade is about 1.25” wide and 1/8” thick. The handle is bog oak. I’d like $125 shipped. Bottom knife first picture. SOLD
2. Flett Forge Dirk (wide): This one is similar in size to #2, but has a blade width of about 1.75” and thickness of 3/16”. Handle is whiskey barrel. Sheath is riveted black leather. I’d like $125 shipped. Middle knife first picture.
3. Flett Forge Seax: This one has a blade length of approximately 10” and a handle of about 5” of bog oak. Blade width is 1.25” and thickness is about 3/16”. Sheath is black leather. I’d like $125 shipped. Top knife first picture. SOLD
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
