Flex in the Becker line

OK folks,
This discussion has strayed quite a bit away from discussion of CAMILLUS/BK&T products. I'm gonna see if Spark can move this over to the REVIEWS forum, for further discussion.

Cliff, Sporty, and Anthony...ya'll are welcome[and encouraged] to discuss and review CAMILLUS/BK&T/CUDA/WESTERN, including comparisions with other knives. But when the discussion begins to center around another brand of knife, especially when its shown in a negative light, its time for the REVIEWS forum.

Jason,
I realize your connection to MARBLE's[past or present] may have you smarting over SPORTY's post, but I see NO REASON for you to label him biased against MARBLES. I will not tolerate an attack like that on someone in this forum. Enough said.

I think I will close this one here and move a copy to reviews. Feel free to open a new topic and stay on topic.

Jason,

Why do you say he has a bias against Marbles? I think damn near everyone here likes Marbles, myself included. You did the right thing by offering a replacement but slamming the guy for posting his thoughts are unbecomming of a manufacturer.

Of course there maybe some history here that I am not aware of so I digress back to my dungeon

Okay, what person (that secretly hates Marbles) just opened a new BFC user account and used Jason's name? I can't imagine Jason ever being responsible for a public relations kick in the nutsack like that. Unbelievable.

Sorry if I didn't clarify. I was in a rush when writing that post. I did not mean to imply that Sporty was anti-Marble's. I was only stating that when reading articles about a knife (any knife, in any publication or forum) to consider the source or perhaps reasons for an author's opinion.

My comment was intended to be directed elsewhere and was meant to be a completely separate issue from Sporty's opinion. If I wanted to openly blast Sporty, I would have done it directly through email, not in a public forum.

Now, to clarify more - I respect your post, Sporty. It was concise and well written. I think it's horrible what happened to the blade and that should never happen under normal use. Have you called Marble's, yet? I'm no longer there because I got a new job at a different company, so I won't be able to help you - otherwise I would. People who know me know I'm the first person to go out of my way for someone. Just call or send your knife in with a letter and I'm sure they'll be of great help.

Sorry again for any confusion. I wish everyone a happy new year!

Jason

First off let me apologize to Cliff and Anthony for so rudely interrupting their discussion about the flex in Becker Line. I, very naively, brought it up this blade failure in a very incorrect way. I hope you guys can forgive this faux pas. Anthony, thanks for moving the info over in Reviews and Testing where it belongs

I have created a more appropriate new post over in the Reviews and Testing that will address the issues involving the Trailmaker and I will update it with any new information that comes in.

Jason, thank you for your clarification and your kind words. I assure you that I am not one of those Marbles Haters which you mentioned being out there in the world. Marbles have been used as hunting knives in my family for three generations and I am very loyal to the brand and the product. If you want more infor about me, refer to the last post on this link that explains who I am and what I am trying to do.
