titanium and s30v, i doubt anyone will break or damage a sebenza by flicking it open. neither of mine have been, and i flick open all the time. they are built tough and will withstand more punishment than most will apply.
That's too bad James, it indicates that your Sebenza is broken! May I suggest that you send it back to the factory to be fixed. The pivot bushing, the two sizes of bronze washers, and the very tight tolerances are all there to ensure a constant opening friction. The only way my Sebenza gets looser is if I loosen ALL the screws holding it together.

Yep, that's pretty much the only way to adjust the tension, loosening the handles of the knife. Obviously, if the knife is so meticulously made, it was not meant for flicking.
