flinging a knife open?

Thanks Thomas. I just ended up confused by the thread in the general discussion because I don't think anyone addressed assisted openers. Sorry.
 
NY Giants fan, I guess it was the drinks...lol...the two defintions are NOT connected. It is either they open AUTOMATICALLY by PRESSING a button OR flicking open. It is EITHER OR not both....

For your information Thomas, I wasn't watching Grey's Anatomy, it was Desperate Housewives. And I wasn't drinking wine coolers, I prefer Zima!
