Flip it all ! My flippin’ flipper aint flippin’

Maybe I missed it. What kind of knife was you flipper?

A Boker, Brad Zinker Urban Trapper with my Krey-Ex custom scales. Not a hard use knife but long enough to do a lot and light and compact(ish). Light enough to be in the bottom of my pocket but too thick to clip to pocket; as I said mostly I carry it in a belt pouch (the bearings don't like pocket lint).

You know what kind of knives don't give you such problems? FLIPPIN FIXED BLADES! Get one, never have this problem again.

Folders are like already broken fixed blades.
You are right.
I EDCed fixed for a while. Sheaths collect a lot of crud, if you cut up trash as I do. I finally had to admit that a folder that is fairly centered is generally more sanitary as a do all . . . that said I was carrying one of my fixed blades before I swapped out to carry the UT for a while.

But yes, while I was using the fixed for several days it was a nice break from putting up with the limitations of all the various locks and or nail nicks. I'm with ya'.

Wait, all this Flipper and there is no dolphin anywhere? Seriously though, that pallet shrink wrap is weird stuff, it clogged up a Spyderco Rescue on me the exact same way as the OP when I was packing band equipment for the cargo plane.

Dolphins ?
They all left; surely you knew. They left a farewell vid and everything :

TLDR again. :D

:D Sorry to disappoint . . . kind of a wimpy flipper. I was looking at a Lionsteel just today . . . 0.165" at the spine . . . ? . . . I'd have to grind that a fair amount thinner to make it cut right. Maybe someday.

Well now that the mystery is solved. I had a job that made using a OHO worth while. I have a habit of wiping off my blade before folding it. Never had a clogging problem. It takes a split second. Problem solved.

Should have spiked the flipper on the ground as hard as you could. Then used the fixed blade that is stealthily sheathed in a sock next to your groin to finish the job. :D

Whoops wrong guy :p
