Flipper Quality Question

I want to buy a Ti flipper with a premium blade (M390 would be nice). I need something with the kind of dimensions and weight of the ZT 0450 and I’d like it to be at a quality level somewhere in the Olamics-Shirogorov area. I’ve looked at the specs on all the Reates, Olamics and Shiros and I couldn’t find anything in the size/weight ballpark of the ZT 0450.

Is there anything like what I’m looking for out there or am I chasing a non-existent fantasy?

The closest I can think of would be the Reate Wave, it's a little bit heavier and a little larger and heavier, but comes very close.

Wow. You're working with a lot of money. You're going to get a fantastic knife.

Why not just get a Shiro? I believe there are some models with pretty similar shape and specs.

Did you look at the Shiro Neon Ultra Lite? It’s a 3.25” blade, 2.8 oz and is made with Elmax (and S30v).

Might also check out the Wisp by WE knives. About the same as the Neon but in S35VN.
Plus one on the Shiro UltraLite. I love my S30V model--best knife in that size range I've ever handled.

If you're looking at Shiros, but with that ZT look, I would strongly suggest checking out Clyde Challenor's work.

Take a look at the Viper Anso Orso.
