flipper suggestions

Boker kwaiken. The new VG10 version is especially interesting. Most don't think of Boker (especially the Plus line) in the same sentence as ZT or BM, but their nicer stuff hold its own.

Jarrod, if it is the one I found, it is not a flipper, or even close in blade shape. I may have looked at the wrong one, but the one I saw is absolutely not for me.

Dry cell, I have never considered Buck. I am not sure why. My favorite skinner/hunter is a vanguard with the rubber grip. I will try to find one and get my hands on it. Thanks.

I think the knife you are looking for is the ZT 0562 (or a 3.5" Hinderer XM-18 if you want to splurge). Here are some pics of my Boker Kawiken CF flipper, ZT 0562, and Rift. The 0562 and Rift are almost identical in overall size, and blade size, and are similar in blade shape. And the 0562 is a super smooth flipper with its KVT bearings.

I have the Buck Vantage Select (small), with a 420HC blade. For the price of $34.99CAN, it's a great little knife to have, and this thing gets really sharp. It's nowhere near as good as the knives that you, or others have mentioned, but for that price, you can buy several of them if you wanted too, and wouldn't have to worry about it.
