Already mentioned by a couple of people, but I just have to say it again; Fox/Citadel Deimos. Relatively inexpensive at ~$125, worth every penny and more. The N690Co steel is not a super steel. but it cuts well, takes a great edge, and holds it quite a while....reminds me of 154CM. Great flipper, and the handle is very comfortable for me. Bad pic, but all I have are bad pics so.... :)

The Hogue EX-02 I had was an excellent flipper. Only got rid of it because I wanted to participate on the pay it forward threads. I'll pick another one up down the road.

Obviously not my pic

I handled a few of the Hogue EX series and while they seemed excellent, the button lock was a little awkward left handed. I'm sure it wouldn't take long to get used to it, so maybe I'll reconsider. I didn't realize they offered a flipper version. Is the detent strong? I'm not familiar with button locks and their detent mechanisms, but I'd imagine it feels different from a liner/frame lock.

The Tighe Coon looks awesome, almost RJ Martin-ish. Great suggestion. The Fox Deimos and Boker Federal look like quality knives, but the designs just don't do it for me. Havent heard much about Kizer, but some of the designs might be a little too Hinderer inspired for me to be comfortable buying.

Thorburn's front flipper is really attractive, but without a pocket clip i'd never carry it. Did I miss a clipped version, or is that the only option?

You can get pocket clips on Andre's knives.

Brous Blades Mini Division stonewash (will be my EDC for quite some time, FANTASTIC knife)

Brous Blades Silent Soldier Flipper Blackout (heavy tank-like little beast that's just too fun to flip open with an addictive pushbutton snap)
Brous Blades T4 Carbon Fiber/Titanium (#104 of 200, tremendous quality, first rate, best flipping action I've EVER seen)

So far, about the best flipper I've had is the ZT0600, and it has had a lot of competition. A couple other great ones I've had recently that I would highly recommend though:

-Microtech DOC
-Olamic Wayfarer
-Todd Begg Field Grade Bodega
-Bill Coye Whiskey 2

I've had a couple others, but those are the best I've tried recently

In direct response to your question, I will second those that recommended a Hogue, solid, quality pieces.
As an aside, I have 3 ZT 0770's and they are not flippers, the all have the Speedsafe AO. I don't know if they have/are drilled for a detent, so maybe they make a fine flipper, but don't by one expecting it to be a flipper out of the box.
