Ok so you know that flipper that just flies out of the handle like an auto even though there's no spring and no assist. Think RJ martin Q36. well I want to hear about em and see em. If you have to use wrist action then its a no go. lets see em guys
 
Kizer ki3404a. Fastest, smoothest flipper i own. This one i believe just has washers. But its faster and smoother then any flipper i have owned with bearings.

 
For the average user from what I've seen detent strength is the biggest factor overall, with a strong detent you can really load up on the flipper before it fires and the blade fires fast, there's no real technique required. Of my flippers my ZT 0562 fires by far the hardest/fastest, and it also has by far the strongest detent. The downside is if the detent is too strong the knife has to be flipper only, for example that same 0562 is impossible for me to open using the thumb studs/blade stop.

This is the best flipper I've ever handled, it's like it opens with magic, it's just unreal. The smoothness is like rolling a marble along a silk sheet, it's absolute perfection. Also, absolutely no blade play. I don't think anything will flip as good (or better) unless it's perhaps an RJ Martin, Sinkevich, or Shirogorov.

You nailed it. I totally agree.
 
I've owned a ton including four figure customs and my Matt diskin flipper is one of the best.

These are the ones in my collection that I can post and that I feel have exceptional action.

This one is the most fun. Custom Knife factory MORRF. Nearly impossible to get it to NOT lockup. Blade falls right into the handle after it broke in.



Daboia flipper by Kevin John Great action. Ceramic bearings. Blade just falls into the handle.

My curtis f3 is the fastest flipper i have ever seen. I have a domino that is wicked fast for a production knife.
