Most all of my folders can be flipped open with enough force, mainly my liner locks, with my higher priced stuff, I try to be a little careful with it.

I like to take automatic knives with button locks and remove the spring. Then they are legal here and I know they can stand up to the flipping, because it puts less force on the stop pin than the spring would.
Question: why are automatics the only knoves made with button locks? They are stronger than most liner locks.
