This is a stupid question. But you can flip the screw heads so the smooth head faces the same direction as the thumb-stub without affecting function, right?

Yes you can, nearly everyone that has had a sebbie at one time or another probably has. I have done it on mine several times and in my experience, it in no way effects function. Someone asked CRK why they dont do it this way and it has something to do with ease of assembly by them. Flip away, it looks cool to have all the allen heads on one side.

+1  CRK should ship them out of the factory like that. I would venture a guess and say that most people flip the screws when they get their Sebs. It's just a cleaner look.

Alright great. Im guess I have to do it now to my large and small 21's lol.

I flip all of mine, I think it looks better with all the screw heads on the
same side. I did it with the spacer screw on my Umnumzaan too.

I have flipped almost all my Sebbie's screws around. Not only do they look better IMO, but I find it easier to assemble the knife with the "front" scale laying flat with all the barrel nuts in place.
