Floating one's boat...

Put many, many of the Non- Boat Floating knives in the Same Boat, then Get a "Real" Boat Floater and Cut a Hole in the Bottom of the Boat and Sink it.

Maybe I need to have my Coffee before I read the Forums.

When I do not like a Knife I tend to sell it cheap and fast(Friends don't give Friends Crappy knives)

When I do like a knife I tend to get several to many of them, and give them to Family and Friends.

FBM Proto, the One that looks like What an Ergo Battle Mistress Should have been, with hand shaped and smoothed Canvas Micarta, now that Sounds like a Boat Floater.

Actually, the old school Ratweiler is one of my biggest "love/hate" knives. I like the size and feel (right between a Camp Tramp and my FSH) but the hump in the handle just doesn't let it sit quite right in my hand.

If I can pick up a cheap user some day I might try an adventure in grinding (eek!), but right now I only have a 1-of-8 Urban Camo and another regular one that is one of the mintiest Swamp Rats I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've never gotten to hold one, but considering how much I hate the shape of most of the Busse handles, I don't think I'd like this one at all. Maybe if the hump was smaller . . . but I have small hands. Hence the res-c handles are my favorite.

Can you expand on this a little? What about the Res-C handle doesn't feel right for you? Is it subjectively too big or too small for you?

I haven't gotten mine yet so I have to live vicariously through others for now.

I doubt Guyon can tell you exactly why bro, handles are a strange thing sometimes they just don't feel quite right !
I have the CG DM and the handle just didn't quite feel right to me, I wrapped it with Para-cord and now I love it, it's now my most carried knife !
Why would a little Para-cord make much difference ? I don't know but it did and now I'd never part with my Mutt !!!!:D
