Flock of Schrade 165 DU prototypes on eBay

:o
And the "swinging" reference? It is the traditional way the tea leaves (or coffee grounds) are settled in the billy, swinging it in a vertical arc overhead. This is how it was related to me. However it may just be like the American sport of snipe hunting and a way to poke fun at the noobs though.

Hi Micheal... Spot on with the swingin billy description  I finally found an Aussie site for you that details the fine art of brewing billy tea!
Let me know if I can assist by sending you a few gum leaves :)

Just to give you a little boost in your use of Aussie slang:
good food = good tucker
the real deal = ridgey didge
crocodile = croc, mud gecko, lizards, salty's etc

Up here in Cairns, if the lizards don't get ya, the drop bears will! ;)

I am sooooo pleased now.
I have finally gotten my very own "prototype" sheath for my 165,
and I didn't have to sift through a bunch of duck doodoo to get one!
Happy girl Happy girl!
That's a real nice looking sheath Skye

Hmmm... sounds simple. Napalm something and wait for it to burn down to coals. Then dig a can out of the trash and cut the top off, fill it full of crik water. Make a spondonical out of a stick, boil water, throw in a handfull of tea leaves and a gum leaf without the koala attached. Fetch it from the fire and get someone else to swing it for you. Sounds simple enough!:)

I was going to suggest getting your wife-mate to do it then I remembered how well most women can aim pots and pans.Arnold

Codger is right about this eBay seller of coarse. Bernard Levine enlighten many of us about this particular character years ago.

This proto stunt is mild compared to some of the crap this guy has pulled in the past. He is NFG:thumbdn:
