Got home yesterday afternoon and have had an *extremely* lazy day today. Tomorrow, it's back to the shop to finish up sheaths for everything that I wasn't able to get finished for the show and get some photos to put them up for sale.
Ben - Both bush swords caught attention, particularly the sinuous one, but neither one sold at the show. The blunt-ended chopper will go to a customer who was in line to get one, and the sinuous one will get a sheath and then will go to my best friend who has been waiting patiently for a bush sword from me for several years now. The good side of which (the only good side, unfortunately) is that the skill that went into making it is higher than it was when he first asked for it.
STeven - Don't try to placate me with your sweet, sweet lies. We both know it was your distaste for forge finishes that kept you on the other side of the room.
Hopefully she'll be back at Blade with me next year, and possibly the Gathering as well.
Lycosa - Well, guess that answers your question about Blade.
Thanks, everyone, for your support! It was a booger to pull off what I managed to, but I'm happy with how things went.
