On the other hand, Cypress Gardens outside of Tampa does prohibit knives.
So Merek, which is it? A person can have a pocketknife during some entertainment activities, but not others? I haven't personally seen a brawl during a professional sporting event in decades. The biggest factor there is BEER sold in huge cups to half-in-the-bag fans, not whether somebody has a pocketknife or not.Merek said:Theme parks are private property and they can enforce their rules (within legal limits). If they don't want you to enter with a knife you can't. Sporting events (in stadiums) are venues where disappointed fans tend to riot. We have all seen it. I can see why there is a 'no weapons' policy there.
I would far rather be around a bunch of armed people who are ready to act or react, than be mixed in a herd of sheeple without no option but wait for help.![]()
Disneyland is cake. i've been there on more than one occasion. they'll look at the outside of your pockets, but that's it. i drop the knife into my pocket, and just clip it on after i get thru the gates. smooth.
