Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao?

Defensive running clinic taught by Mayweather. No real exchange what so ever! Mayweather has accuracy but it seemed as though the announcers were trying to sell the audience, the idea Mayweather was winning from the beginning of round one. I didn't see a fight it was a dog and pony show.........mixed with a track meet. Ring was also extra huge again why??? So he could run if need be.

Pacquaio tried to make it a fight, but typical Mayweather was holding , hugging , and running. This guy has the nerve to call himself The Best Ever... He is a joke.

For the casual boxing fan this is a fight they may have considered boring , and use the term "running" to describe mayweathers style .
The truth of the mater is , mayweather is a master boxer and technician and he proved that for a 48th time , he hits and makes his opponent miss, and manny pacquiao was no different from any other opponent last night , mayweather was able to neutralize all of pacquaios offense and keep him to landing a meager % of punches compared to mayweathers landing 48% .
I considered this a masterfull performance with mayweather once again proving just how far ahead of the competition he is.
Mayweather was also a very gracious winner giving credit to pacquiao, whereas pacquiao was a very sore loser, mayweathers persona is only an attempt to sell fights, he is really humble and gracious , but he knows and has learned from Muhammad Ali that playing a villain sells fights.

I have seen everyone of Mayweathers and Pacquiaos fights and I must say. This was the worst performance by either of them. I don't know if its true or not but Pacquiao said he had a shoulder injury so that may have affected his offense but even so he tried to be the aggressor and Mayweather did what he typically does run , hold , elbow which he was warned by Kenny Bayless to stop and potshot. The thing that gets me is Mayweather is the bigger man 5'8 154lbs to Pacquiao 5'6 148lbs and yet he refused to exchange with Pacquiao as he has done with much larger opponents than himself like Canelo Alvarez. The reason for that is because Mayweather chooses to fight boxers who are slower , washed up , or boxers with low boxing IQ. But when he fights an opponent of Pacquiaos caliber you see the performance that we saw last night. He avoided pacquiao and won as safely as possible. Even his punch output was low last night even for him.

Let's get real neither fighter even had so much as a bloody nose. The ring was huge again NOT a coincidence same as when he fought Canelo. Why such a large ring? Heavy weight fighters use a ring half this size. Could it be a touch and run style of boxing umm yes..... Anderson Silva pays the villain roll to sell fights and other than his last two fights would finish his opponents. I just don't understand how a fighter is rewarded for a Sub part performance. I give this a draw at best

Entertaining performance but frustrating "fight". Mayweather is a coward wife/girlfriend beater outside the ring and a "nah-nah, catch-me-if-you-can" inside the ring. Pacquiao tried to box all night and Mayweather ran away the entire time (except for when Pac got close and he would wrap him up). Giving Mayweather punch count credit for the endless soft left jabs he threw does not refect the nature of his performance, in my opinion.

Pac wins! :D

This fight was fixed...second fight coming next year. Whoever expected a war, does not know about boxing. It's one of the most corrupt sports...rest assured though, people will pay again to see the next one, cause we're stupid like that.

There's no Mexican who doesn't love boxing, and all Mexicans were with The Pacman. Sad thing is Floyd in spite of being the superb boxer that he is, abuses the clinch as a resource to avoid being hit. If theres no rule against that, then boxing is a flawed sport. Clinching is a last ditch resource when you are under heavy fire, not a way to avoid any possible confrontation.

It's what he's done his whole career but even more so with Pacman which is surprising because Pacquiao is the smaller man. Smh.

I mean no disrespect but do you know Mayweather personally? I don't, but if he is not an a-hole he deserves a grammy for his ability to act like one. He seems nothing like Ali. Ali was a showman in, and outside the ring. Mayweather kind of paints himself like a overgrown child thug. He is good at what he does i'm just not sure what it is he does.

All I know is I'll never shell out the PPV fees. I can watch better fights for free on the street.

You basically hit the nail on the head , mayweather deserves a Grammy , his ability to play the villain is what boosted him In to super stardom , he is nothing like he he leads u to believe he is , and as for Ali , he was pretty darn controversial in his heyday , boycotting the war and talking a ton of smack . Ali pretty much laid the marketing blueprint mayweather just followed it and made up a bit on his own as he went along

Mike are you sure he is just playing the villain. He has multiple charges of assault on women including the mother of his children.

Sugar ray lenord beat his wife too, everyone loves him today
I don't condone that behavior one bit , but boxer and fighters are notorious for it . On a side note , mayweathers girl friend he was accused of beating was high on drugs and he claimed he was o oh restraining Her , so who really
Knows what happened .
Just remember one thing . Mayweather is a businessman first and a boxer second , every move he makes is a calculated business move .

Yeah I hear you but the thing is she is not the only woman he has put his hands on. In fact he has been charged with punching two of his girlfriends friends in the face in a Vegas nightclub. Dragging the same girlfriend out of a car by her hair and several other assaults on different women. Oh And the mother of his children that he claimed was high on drugs she said that she had been drinking that night but she was not on any drugs. But even if she was does that give him a reason to beat her that bad that he had to do a reduced sentence of 60 days in jail. Also there were witnesses that said he attacked her unprovoked.

I think All of that is terrible if it is true , but the detective In me wonders if they are just after a nice settlement .
Remember what happend to mike Tyson , accused of rape , everyone believes him to be innocent but that women made a lot of money for crying rape q

In any case , I admire floyd mastery in the ring , I appreciate that I'm seeing possibily the greatest defensive fighter ever , as far as him being a role model , no he deffinatly doesn't project himself like that but as I said before I believe that to be a calculated ACT by a very calculating businessman.

I know but the incident in the nightclub was in 2001. Before he was "Money Mayweather".
