Hay guys, I know I'm always askin for help, but you guys are always so damn good at it:)

now that I'm done kissing ass:jerkit:

Any one have any fluorescent orange G-10 or Micarta (mycarta)? I need enough for one krambit knife I'm making. say 1/8" thick? I need 2 2x4 pieces. I have been having trouble finding it online. I was hoping some one had some they would want to spare for a good price?

Just a little back ground on this:D I just got a new job:) I work for fish and game now, but I work behind a desk all day fixing computers. I just accepted a job with our fish department doing scientific research, less money but more fun. I made this Krambit to cut off fish heads and dig out pit tags. I need the fluorescent orange handles in case I drop it into the water.

Thanks guys, I have paypal

I'll post pics when I get it all done and back from Paul Bos for heat treat.

Another question, any one know off of the top of their head if Paul HT's CPM154? I hope he does, he did such a great job on my other knives.

I was talking to my buddy Chuck Bybee last night:
http://www.alphaknifesupply.com

and he told me he got 150 lb. of orange and red G10 last week! :D

Oops, edited to add that Paul heat-treats all air-hardening steels... so the 154 is right up his alley! :)

Damn it, I can't seem to do this with one post, lol!

I went and looked at the Bybee's site and they don't have the orange G10 listed yet... Give Chuck a call. They are awesome people and will treat you right. Tell them "that A$$-Hole Wheeler" sent you! :D

No. Seriously, do it :)

And congrats on the new gig!!! I'd dig a job like that. I used to work for a fishing guide and we knew all the local guys on a personal level. Always seemed like a great way to make a living to me. Best of luck with it!

Thanks I will give them a call:D

I am really going to dig the new job, plus I get to camp out all the time and get payed for it:)

Yep, what Nick said. I just ordered some too but he said he hasnt even cut it up yet. It dont get fresher than that.

Just finished it up, heres the pics before I send it to Paul.

Get it from Chuck for sure if he has it. If he doesn't yet, we have it here in Canada - in 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8. The 3/16 was shipped to us as 1/8 but no way.

Rob!

Thanks I hope so, I will prob take it down to 1500 grit and then buff it out. cpm 154 isnt all that bad to work with at all, but then again the last bit of steel I was working with was S7, which was a bitch to sand.
