Fluted Titanium Military?

Goodluck. I have been on a preorder list since 04/14/2011 and I'm starting to lose hope

I handled one for the first time around Thanksgiving 2011. It is a really nice knife, very thin. It feels great in the hand. I too have been keeping my eyes open int eh secondary market.

They are changing the colouring procedure if IRC. Might have something to do with the long waits. I also read they can only run around fifty a month but don't know
how true this is.

I know a place that has (had one when I went there, handled it for a few minutes :D) one, but its at full MSRP :(

I wish these were more readily available, the colors really are gorgeous.

Have one on pre-order since Jun 2011 and at first they said they expected delivery in Dec and now all I'm getting from them in terms of ETA is sometime in March. When you consider that when the regular ti military runs out fast whenever they are in stock, it's no surprise that the flutted version is hard to find.

I just received this one last friday. It's my first one. It's very well could be the smoothest folder of it size I have ever handled. It open's & close's like butter. It's very thin and super light. It blow's the regulator titanium military out of the water. I tried some picture's but it very hard to photograph.
It's way nicer than the picture's show it.

Very nice, from a retailer or was this on the exchange?

Beautiful knife RICKSTER. I don't see a steel lockbar insert on it, kinda surprised about that.

No this one came with no lock bar insert, I think that adds to the smoothness

This one came from one of the large auction sites. I have 2 coming on pre-order hopefully within a few weeks. But I got tired of waiting and bit the bullet and paid dearly but it was well worth it IMO.

I love the looks of this knife and I wish they'd make another, smaller fluted ti knife with a frame lock or compression lock. I know the Native is coming with this finish but since that is a backlock it's heavier than I really prefer. If they made a fluted ti knife the size of a Sage or Chaparral with a light locking mechanism I'd sign up right away. I love the Military but it's a far larger knife than I would want to carry around on a regular basis.

Yup think all the new ones will have the insert. It's probably to fix the problem these had with the lock face wearing out.

Each one will vary in color due to how the flame is applied to the handles. Mine turned out so blue. I love it!

I like the blue on yours way better than mine

From the picture yours appears to have the lock bar insert?

Also your box is different

Would mine be one of the first ones released because of the no lock bar insert?

Do the current ones have the lock bar insert?
