Flux stand

I built a dedicated stand for fluxing Damascus billets. Works great, should have done this years ago. Stand can be seen on the equipment page at my web site www.blacksmithrick.com.

A great idea, I'm going to build one/ The mechanics of fluxing can be a hassle at best, so it would help to have everything right there, laid out for you. Just yesterday I bought a pan and pepper shaker just for fluxing, so I'm going to work up a stand now for my application. Thanks Rick!

It's pretty cool! Though I have to admit, the shaving horse inspired vise bench was the piece on the page that made me go "doh! why didn't I think of that!"
