flyfishing in Sweden, August, pics

thnx guys,

in all honesty, I miss some Busse action as well, but on the few occasions when I really used my SFNO, there was no camera with me, or the circumstances were not right for shooting...

Idaho J'head, appreciate your comments. these are absolutely unedited pics, but I used a quality lens-and camera (Sigma 17-70, or Nikkor 16mm fisheye, Nikon D300s and a polarizing filter, most of the time). The pol. filter really makes a difference at color liveliness, and sky-cloud contrast. The drawback is that the lens aperture gets a few stops smaller (the lens gets slower- eg.: if maximum aperture is F2.8 it's really around F4...). the other thing, that the Sigma tend to have a bit more yellow in the end picture, and it makes the colors warmer. I will do some editing on most of these, mainly increasing the tonal depth with the "curves" tool, and get back some of the highlight- overexposed parts.

here is a lousy photo of a non catch&release act...:o (pay attention of the colour of the flesh...yummy)

Your right yummy :) That fish oil on your sfno-le's handles really make them pop.
