Today was the kind of wet windy day where you could expect to see garbage cans, umbrella's and maybe the occasional confused cow flying high in the sky.......yeah it was nasty, very nasty !
The parking lot shows what kind of day it was....everyone with any sense was sat by their fires drinking hot chocolate !
This lake is nearly always calm but today even this was ruffled~
I'd pulled one of my favourite bits of kit outta my closet today, my fleece by Paramo clothing. This thing is awesome, very nearly waterproof, very nearly windproof, super breathable and plenty long with lots of pockets !
Anyway on with the hike~
Near the top of the hill I decided to test the Ryan Weeks knife a little more by carving an improved figure trap~
This knife is super comfortable in all grips, I will admit to using the saw on my SAK a little, the weather was too nasty to mess about !
And in no time at all we had a finished trap !
