hee, hee, hee...
i knew he'd do it!!

Thanks Kelvin! i'm still watching the tape Bram Frank sent me- it's excellent; very well done, very clearly explained. here in northeast PA there aren't many people into FMA...
a guy in my nursing class (there's only three of us compared to the 44 girls...

gee, life is rough aint it?!)- when he saw my palm stick he was clueless..we got into a discussion. he still feels that your traditional shotokan karate is the end-all of martial arts; actually said, "you mean there's such a thing as a FMA?" NOT that there's anything wrong with Shotokan, mind you, but still...
Hope your training is going well...the only instructor around here (he was doing Modern Arnis at his Kenpo school) hasn't started back up with the stickwork yet. kinda sucks...

Hey KELT,

I only train on Sundays now 'cause of my new job, but I still do solo training. We did some sparring today with padded sticks and helmets. I decided to spar without gloves until I opened up a knuckle on the WEKAF helmet. The sticks were padded, but we all went home with cuts and bruises. I need to do this more often. I was getting hit too many times for my liking. I just kept thinking how dead(literally) I would have been using real sticks without that helmet on.

Kelvin
