FNG and his new BK&T

Welcome to the forum and the addiction. Great first choices..the bk11 and the bk2. I made the same choices and recently added a bk7. Lots to learn here so enjoy !

Thank you! About the addiction, its gonna be tough for a good long while until a friend comes home from the US. So maybe its gonna be just accessories and mods i can do on my own for a good bit :p

Welcome. Did it feel like you were holding a lightning bolt on Viagra?
There's only one other object that makes me feel that way.

My electric toothbrush.

:D

Not sure about the viagra but it sure felt like this...

Welcome. Nice to have you aboard. The 11 and 2 were my first beckers also. Solid, working mans knives. Those are the only two I've done any mod work on. Both feel nice with micarta also. Congratulations on the start of your Becker family!

Thanks Johnny1280! About the micarta, I think thats one the qualities that won me over. Both are comfortable, complete, and ready to work out of the box and the fancy pants can be added later. I'm excited to get some dirt time with them ;)

viagra. who needs it... there's a story of a guy who spent just 4 hours on a motorcycle, with a bad seat, and claims he's been "ready" for the last 9 months.

well, as you know, they say 4 hours is the danger limit with viagra...

imagine living with a Becker Machax for 30 years. oh yeah, redwoods :)

Welcome! I know a few pinoy, since there's a pretty big airsoft community out there.

I actually started with the 11 and 2 also. Good choices. Right now, if I was forced to pare down my collection, I'd be keeping the 11, 16, 10, and 9. I'd also keep a 77 if I had one, as well as the RBK, but I don't have either of those. :(

Yep, that's right. It's an addiction. Just wait til you start customizing your knives. Then you're in big trouble.

WTH

30 damn years with a tool that bleeds awesomeness! wow, doesn't sound so bad to me ;)

Yeah, airsoft is pretty big here right now and what i think is whats pushing the tacticool market here more than the real LEO's and soldiers here. But i guess i could use some of that too

About the addiction, its gonna be tough for a while for me to get a 9 (its not like i need it badly anyway). But accessorizing I think will be a bit easier and please tell me I don't need it yet :D

Man, you can probably find some pretty spectacular wood out there, since a lot of great stuff grows out there (amboyna, philippine mahogany, all kinds of acacia, tiger ebony). Would be pretty neat if you can just find some sweet wood lying around out there and turn it into knife handles...

Honestly, it never crossed my mind to attempt that sort of project. Then I remembered my friend who now makes custom guitars, and the pieces started falling. Not in their proper places yet, but it seems possible! And now I think I'll be on the lookout for local woods. Excellent idea crimsonfalcon07!
