Fob or no fob….

I go back and forth on the issue. sometimes yes and sometimes no. Several of my knives have them but mostly fixed blades. I have had them interfere with opening and closing flippers and autos.
Exactly! Wow, I’m I glad you replied. Also, notice that the folks who have been collecting and carrying the longest, seldom add fobs to their “nice” knives? Hmm. Well certainly not a good idea to leave a fob out in public places where a skateboard thief might grab it and make a getaway. 🤨. I’m still thinking this out. Around the yard they are handy!

Woah woah! No need to throw the “S” word out there. 😂🤣

Fobless for me.
I’m leaning that way. Holy Cow! I may have to repurpose lol 😂 Exception being the small Sebenza, I’m keeping that silly little pig tail around because I consider Chris, Tim and Team like the REAL Santa and his workshop! 🐿️👍 I’ve been around long enough to know “stock is best” for maintaining value in iconic classics such as my CRK treasure. I did get some spare fob pins just in case I need a change of pace. View attachment 2165177

I'd go with a fob. Just a normal, short fob for pulling the knife out of the pocket. Doesn't have to be pretty or gets in your eyes.
If the knife is waved, especially with deep pocket clip, the fob is a must IMO, otherwise the wave don't make sense.
I love deep pocket clips and hate them in the same time because most of them are not designed with the idea of pulling the knife out of the pocket easily.
Having fob, eliminates the flaws of mediocre deep pocket clip. It's quick to draw and convenient.
Only my 2 cents.

My victorinox that rides in a pocket organizer gets one. Otherwise I have a really hard time getting it out of my pocket. They look sweet but they start to bug me after a while.
