A pic of a Boot Shiv Don made recently. It has been forged from 1/2" 1095 round. The blade is 5" to the cord and 9.5" overall.

i'm kicking myself for missing this one - beautiful hamon. i have one of his shivs, but would love to get a leaf blade one like this (along with a short sword, a sickle and just about everything else i've seen of his

normally i'm a fan of bigger blades - but his shivs just have such a unique style to them that i can't help myself.
