We found one up the road. We are hitting it Friday night....

We plan not to eat in the meantime until then...:cool:

So, I can buy a 2008 Shelby Cobra 'Stang' for $40k drive away!?

This sucka would cost me $200 - $300k depending on spec back home.

I hate the weak dollar. Mainly because of all the foreign gloating.

Put some pontoons on that Stang and float it home! :thumbup: :D

Hope Fogo's is good to you--in the way that only consuming an entire cow can be.
 
Sorry bro, I am not gloating, ( ;) ) just amazed at how (to me) great the pricing of cars and property is here. I can buy a bloody nice house for $400k here and back home I would get a spec home for that at half the size (based on what I have seen in Houston - Sugarland?).

I mean it when I say I could move to the US. I love the place! Hell, I got lost in the Bass Pro Shop!

My wife says I get lost in there every time I visit. I do tend to zone out and lose track of all temporal and spatial references beyond the aisle I'm on.

Guyon, I am just getting some back on you guys when my dollar use to be worth 64c...:)

You know how much I have paid for Busse's in the past with that conversion man! NO R-R-R-REGRET's....Ouch!

Do you think the economy will sort itself out when the campaigns are over and November comes around? It is a confusing system (to me) but I am getting my head aound it...

Man...you guys would LOVE Miami. Jerry should do a show down here, that way the people who travel over from wherever could actually enjoy a little sun and fun. Not to mention all the amazing food we have down here. Only food we don't have GREAT examples of here is Italian. Want Mexican, Homestead; want beef? Any number of Argentine, Brazillian, Venezuelan, Colombian, southern, etc... Want Cuban? We got that in abundance. We have a capital grill, a Smith & Wollensky, a Ruth's Chris, a Don Shula, 3 TEXAS de BRAZIL's For Pork, Porcao, and so many other spots.

Then there's the water. Boats, jetskis, women in bikinis...

And let us NOT gloss over the women. Oh, the women...and for AZShaman and other ladies, the men here ain't bad either (I say that based on my wife's comments). Come on down...and Bring your INFI with you.

Yeah!! Plus we actually get cool/semi-cold temps here vs. Houston. Then again, I am sure the cost of everything here is inflated compared to Houston as well... :rolleyes:
 
I went a looked at a house today for $sub 600k just out of Houston.

Back home, in the suburbs, I would not scratch it for any less than $1.2m.

So your saying that other parts of the US are more expensive?

I got the job, I got the approval of the Mrs. - just got to get the kahunas to do it....
