Clear skies until halfway to totality, then socked in again. Definitely worth seeing waht we could before the clouds moved in, though. Ain't the cosmos neat?

had a great view here in san diego. there were some clouds, but not enough to spoil the show--however, it didn't seem red to me, so maybe the clouds were enough to spoil the colour, dunno.
i've been pretty ill (lymph infection, don't get one, trust me on this) and my sweetie made sure i got all bundled up to totter outside to see the show, he knows i wouldn't want to miss it, virus or no virus! it was tres cool and worth seeing.

I missed it, but I left the city late tonight and on the way home the moon was orange, so I guess that's something!
