Folder around $400

for my usage, I really like the Zero Tolerance knives. the 0300 series is great if you like a large folder that is built like a tank, the 0200 series is excellent for the price but is not an assisted opening model, and the 0350 is my EDC. love em. had a large sebenza, and after comparing it to my ZTs I let it go and bought three ZTs with the cash. The one handed opening lever on back of the blade is super fast
 
I've gone through a few folders including a Large Regular Sebenza. But the only one that I've really kept and stays in my pocket almost all the time is one my Benchmade 805 TSEK with M390 Steel. Love it so much, I bought another one as backup.

I guess I'm a bit of a steel snob. I'm hoping there's an 805 in M4 in the future.

And of course for fixed steel, it's INFI all the way for me. :)
 
I will throw Black Bear Knives into the mix. Mike's folders are incredible and they start at a tad over $200. and these are custom knives.
