Applied bolsters, that is, a separate bolster attached to a liner. The old type had a stud that fit through a hole in the liner and was peen hammered in place. I have been told the stud was "chopped on" but I have no idea what that means. I want to learn how to make folders using traditional methods. Thanks for any help on this one.
