Many of you already know that I've been offering some custom made carbide counterbores to fill the void for the small screws we frequently use. I have been doing this more as a service and barely break even on these things. I don't mind doing it because, I need them myself and so I can help others out at the same time. I've been asked by a few makers if I would get counterbores for the 2-56 button head but with a pilot for an 1/8" hole. Honestly, I could use these as well but I need a minimum quantity to place an order. I and the others who are asking about these already know that R.B. Johnson offers a cobalt step drill in this size; I have some and they work really nice but, don't hold up well in titanium and timascus. So, I'm just looking to judge interest on this size in carbide.
Stacy- I hope that this post doesn't violate any rules. This really is a not-for-profit endeavor and I don't think this comes across as a sales ad but, it's obviously your call.
