I am looking for a folder with a fully serrated blade. I would like something with a 3+ inch blade made with a steel that retains an edge well. Under $70 bucks would be appreciated, too.

Thanks in advance.

Hi man,
Hmmm for 70 bucks I'll buy a Benchmade, check there website and choose one.
If you have hard time choosing, I'll suggest you will buy - mini-griptillan, 527 Presidio, or just go for whats you like.
(Youll probably get the Benchmade fever,...)

Hi,
Why does everyone like the Endura, I do own one but its not as good as my other blades....am I missing something...?

The original poster asked for a recommendation of a folding knife with a fully serrated blade. Please tell me which models of Benchmade folders have fully serrated blades? I was not aware that there were any Benchmade folding knives whose blades are serrated from tip to handle.

As stated before, take a look at Spyderco. Theyve got a lot of models with a fully serrated edge, with the Endura being one of them. The Endura also happens to be one of the greatest knives ever made

Benchmade dosnet have any fully-serrated folders.

Yeah, I don't believe Benchmade has had any full-length serrated production folders either at all, or at least anywhere close to recently. I understand really enjoying a knife company, but maybe some more research into the products might be beneficial.

I heard that serrated H1 gets really hard(high 60's on the scallops). So a SE pacific salt may be the ticket for what you need.

Other than that if you can find a SE ZDP Endura with a saber grind would be the cat's jammies.

I have the fully serrated Spyderco Endura which I use for special purposes. It's wicked. It is a good blade and I recommend the knife. There are other Spyderco models that have the fully serrated version available. I generally lean away from the partially serrated bladed knives and go with a plain edge.

If you want something less aggressive, some of the Victorinox swiss army knives (SAKs) have fully serrated blades designed for cutting seat belts and fabric/rope. The Dual Pro comes to mind which I own although I consider it a tad "thick" for pocket carry as opposed to belt pouch carry.

What are you comparing it to? My Blur is my favorite knife, but the Endura4 is a realllllly close second.

I had forgotten entirely about the Vic RescueTool, though it does have some other tools that may not exactly serve much of a purpose for non-LEO/FD/EMS such as a window punch and windshield saw.

Of all the knives I've owned (tons) there is nothing compared to the serrations on a spyderco!! I know my name might make me seem brand loyal, but that is not the case.

I fully agree. A fully serrated Endura is a smart choice.

On the "less expensive" side look @ the Spyderco fully serrated Tenacious. Just a gr8 value with pillar construction for ez clean:thumbup:

Although not a 3"+ blade, the Tasman Salt by Spyderco is a wicked cutter. The hawkbill blade cuts like a demon when combined with the great Spyderco serrations.
