just posted this in the newish chinese company thread, heres my Navy K-631 fully serrated, 440c, 56-58rc had it for a little over a month and i have yet to touch it up on anything and it still push cuts newsprint
A serrated Salt series knife would be the ticket, in my opinion. Light, strong, non-rusting, and some of the hardest steel around, but with good toughness. Grinding serrations into H1 effectively gives you a differentially hardened blade that is very hard at the edge (Rc 68, per Sal) and softer/tougher at the spine.
