folder options

What options are available on the Stider folders? I think that I remember seeing something about different grip materials, etc.

Hi there guy. There are now 3 different sizes and 6 models of "STRIDER" folders. All of the ones that I have ever received are with G-10 sides. I have seen folders that have been customized by the individual and if you're willing to wait maybe you could have something done through custom services by either Mick or Duane. Let me be clear...I AM NOT OFFERING THEIR TIME TO DO THIS!...I'd rather they kept grinding knives and got to see their family every once in awhile.

You might also want to touch base with Tom Mayo...this might be something he would be willing to do.

6 different models? This is news to me. Besides the AR and the GB, what are the 4 other models?

There are 2 versions of both the SB1 and SB2, with either tanto or spear point...these are the collaboration pieces done with Buck Knives. I wouldn't consider them in the same vein as the "custom" folders (AR and GB) but they are Striders and a great value...particularly if you have one of the limited production BG-42 models.
