I have a bunch of folders that are sitting in their boxes and I've decided to downsize to one or two knives. I have bought and sold quite a few knives but these are the ones I added to my collection because I liked them so much. I don't really like certain ones more than others, so I am going to list them all, and then withdraw the posting once I have sold all but one or two. The only one I definitely intend to move is the Benchmade Presidio 570, which I've been using for a couple months as my box cutter.
None of the knives have been carried, none has cut anything other than paper (except for the Presidio). Some have been sharpened as indicated below. All come with the original boxes and any included accessories like baggies, cards, pamphlets, extra washers, etc.
All prices are PayPal G&S and include shipping. Contact me if you want to pay via F&F at a discounted amount. If you buy a knife and are not happy with it, I will refund your money less the shipping cost upon receiving the knife back in the same condition it left here. Any returns must be shipped back within two days of receipt. I reserve the right to sell or not sell to anyone; I prefer to deal with people that have established feedback on the forums. I'm not interested in trades at this time.
If you have questions, comments, or offers, please do not post them in the thread. Instead, send a PM or an email to Bubsterx1 at gmail dot com. Only post an "I'll take it" here, and we'll follow up by PM or email. Thanks!
Benchmade Osborne 940-1 / 943 blade swap. This knife has the drop point blade from a brand new 943 installed in the handle of a brand new 940-1 with carbon fiber scales. Blade is centered and it will drop shut. I sharpened it on my Wicked Edge and, after testing the blade on a piece of paper I put it back in the box, which is a 940-1 box. Comes with two extra black clips. $190.
Benchmade Presidio II 570. As noted, i used this knife to cut some cardboard. I also sharpened it on my Wicked Edge. The blade is centered. It does not drop shut, but it will close with a flick of the wrist. $125.
Hinderer XM-18 3" Gen6 No-Choil Slicer, Battle Black DLC M390 steel, Black G10 Scale. I almost sold this last year but the prospective buyer wanted assurances that it is very easy to open with the thumbstud and I did not have enough experience with Hinderers to provide that assurance. Now I can. I can open this knife using the thumbstud or the flipper and do not have to flick my wrist at all to do it. It's perfectly calibrated in my opinion. I have taken this knife apart to put a drop of Nano oil on the pivot. I think I sharpened it too; I just don't recall. There are no marks on the blade or the handle or other evidence of use. It's very sharp and centered. Currently on the bearings, the other washers are included. $415.
Hinderer XM-18 3.5" Gen6 Skinny Slicer, Stonewash Black CPM20CV steel, Black G10 Scale. This is the best 3.5" Hinderer I've ever owned. Like the 3" knife above, I have no trouble opening this one with the thumbstud or the flipper tab. I may have sharpened this one on my Wicked Edge. It's never been carried or used to cut anything. Still on the bearings; the washers are included. Awesome knife. $old.
Zero Tolerance 0452CF with S35VN Blade. This one is new in the box. I did not sharpen it, and have not used it for anything other than to slice a piece of paper to see how sharp the blade is. It came very sharp from the factory; I was not tempted to sharpen it on the Wicked Edge. $200.
Olamic Wayfarer 247 3.5" Stonewashed M390, TI Matte Bronze hardware, Kinetic X Acid Rain handle. I got this from a forum member and have flipped it a few times and sliced a piece of paper to confirm that the edge was as sharp as it looked. It is. The previous owner got the knife from ApostleP, who has a knife sharpening business that he promotes on YouTube and elsewhere. He uses the EdgePro system if I recall correctly. Anyhow, he clearly knows what he is doing because the blade has a near-mirror finish on it and its very sharp. Note that the handle has the "acid rain" holes on the show side but not the clip side (some versions have it on both). The knife has a great weight to it and it flips open with authority. Comes with soft case, certificate, and pivot adjustment tool. $425.
