Guys,

I am going to attempt to make a folder with a single blade and a fork blade. It will be a usable "trout-knife". I think the fork will actually be used at least once, and I want to ask what you think would be the best way to lock it. I know that I can lock the blade with the liner or a lock-back, but I don't know what would be the best way to lock the fork open. Maybe I don't need to lock it at all, if I can make it stiff enough. Please let me know what you think.

If I remember right, case has one they call a hobo knife thats a trapper pattern with a fork and a clip blade. Its locking mechanism is just normal slipjoint springs. They have it set up so you can take it apart and use both the fork and the knife at the same time. If your going to keep it all in one peice you may consider a more solid locking mechanism, although I think you could get by with just the slipjoint.
